** Save the Date!! **
Several of your neighbors are trying to prevent more stray/feral kittens in the neighborhood & help keep the ones we already have healthy.
We are working with Feral Cat Focus/Operation Pets and
have SEVERAL appointments to fix/vaccinate as many of the "neighborhood cats" as possible on:
Tuesday, 10/8/2024
We are asking neighbors to PLEASE:
1) stop feeding the cats the TWO DAYS before so we will be more likely to trap them
2) keep your indoor/outdoor cats inside so they do not get caught!
We are NOT asking people to stop feeding the cats forever, only to help us Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate & Release (TNVR). Cats will be safely released back where they were caught after they recover.
We are asking for VOLUNTEERS to:
1) put traps on their property
2) transport cats to/from their appts
3) keep cats in a covered area for up to 2 days post-surgery (can be in a garage/on a covered porch)
4) help us with additional fundraising
5) temporarily foster friendly strays before they can be taken in by rescues (like the SPCA, 10 Lives, etc) if needed
