Here & Queer events have taken place throughout Te Tai Tokerau in 2024 and now the kaupapa has arrived in Kaikohe! Please pass on this pānui to any Takatāpui, rainbow people in the mid-north. This hui is for all ages LGBTQIA+ members, their whānau and community. Come along for kōrero followed by kai. If you have any dietary needs, please get in touch at at least a week prior to the event [email protected]
Information for support services will be available, kaimahi from both RainbowYOUTH and InsideOUT Kōaro will be attending as will the newly formed rōpū "Āniwaniwa Hokianga Aotearoa". Engage in discussion to identify the gaps, needs, hopes and dreams of the Kaikohe local rainbow community, so we can plan future activities in line with these.
