About this Event

A short animation, viewed on your smartphone, of the mutual symbiosis of the Chequered Copper (Lucia limbaria) butterfly accompanied by an original sculpture.

There is a trail to the 3 AR triggers, which starts at the Nature Festival Hub on the SA Museum lawns.

At the Hub there is a sculpture of the caterpillar of the Chequered Copper butterfly by the Wills Project (Laura Wills and Will Cheesman).

The second AR trigger and sculpture of the eggs of the Chequered Copper butterfly is by Emiko Artemis and is located on the pavement outside the Uni SA Museum of design (MOD).

The third AR trigger and sculpture of the host plant Oxalis perennans is by Rosina Possingham and a collective based at POP Projects and is located in the southern area of Pakapakanthi/Victoria Park/Park 16 on the walking trail south of the Grasslands Biodiversity site.
