In 2022, Herd (Bedford) in conjunction with Underneath put on a series of all-day / night house music events utilising some of the UK’s best loved DJ’s of Deep, Soulful House Music. In 2024 - it’s with great happiness we’re back once again (yes like a renegade master) to bring you another event and we’ve got something special lined up.
Saturday May the 11th we will be clearing out the tables upstairs, polishing the floor and perfecting the sound for the HERD All Day All Night Session featuring DJ’s Rocco Rodamaal (France), Atjazz (Arco), Craig Smith (SPW, Suncbeat), The Journey Men (Residents) & DJ Carlene (D.I.S, Switch) and the Herd All Stars - George James, Dave Christie etc.
We have been on a mission to bring you a lineup to die for in the basement for so long and so happy to have got this in place for you to enjoy.
First up and with 30 years of production & djing under his belt, Rocco Rodamaal (Lyons, France) has played with almost all the the very best in the game: Black Coffee, Louie Vega, Kerri Chandler, Laurent Garnier, Dj Deep, Derrick Carter to name a few. Over the last 12 months Roocc’s played:

Rocco’s unique DJ & Production style lend perfectly to our basement parties and we cant wait to see him tear up the dance in this unique setting.
Atjazz is no stranger to the Herd Basement and one of the legends we have invited back on more than one occasion. His ever growing catalogue of music for Arco and beyond keep Atjazz consistent and recognisable for todays world of house music. His sound mastery is always an art in itself and we cant wait to have him back at Herd.
Edinbrough’s Craig Smith is also another familiar face to the Herd crowd. Fresh from tearing up Southport Weekender over the course of 3 different sets in 2024- we know Craig feels just at home at Herd and compliments our “Big 3” perfectly for his diverse and range of house music knowledge. Craigs productions are also at the heart of his sets and never ever fails to set the bar high. The official DJ’s DJ, Craig - welcome home brother.
Carlene - Having been so impressed by recent sets at Herd, Deep into soul and a growing reputation for her energy-fuelled love of house music we cant wait to see Carlene at Herd for her second time.
Carlene is paving her own way through the UK scene at the moment and a dedicated music lover we have recognised on her own dance-floor to DJ journey that she is making a beautiful transition.

We hope this lineup satisfies all types of house music lovers, but especially those who like it deep and those who like to get down.
