We’ll dive into adaptogens, nervines, and mood-balancing herbs.This class is part of an herbal series that runs through December. Students can choose to sign up for multiple classes. This class is taught by Prana House owner and herbalist Jacque Maldonado and Widow Apothecary creatrix and herbalist Jenna Faccenda.
Jacque Maldonado
In 2013, Jacque created and brought to life her vision of The Prana House - an evolving sanctuary that has become a beloved community retreat and sanctuary. A Drexel University business graduate, Jacque also possesses a rich background in diverse modalities within the realm of holistic health and wellness.
An herbalist and perpetual student of Folk, Shamanic, Pagan, Curanderismo, and Spiritual teachings, Jacque embodies the role of a priestess on a continuous journey of learning and deep connection with ancient and ancestral wisdom.
Jenna Faccenda
Jenna Faccenda is an Italian American folk herbalist, witch and writer. When she isn’t tending to her son, puppy, or cats, she is working with her herbal ancestors through Widow Apothecary.
Her teachings and practices come from her findings through her southern Italian roots of Sicily and Campania, her teachers on the plant path (Kimberly Geisler, Brooke Johnson, Janet Kent, Dave Meesters, Jen Stovall, Lisa Fazio, and Lupo Passero), and her former life as a book publicist.
