About this Event

In what ways can herbs support us in the springtime? Join herbalist Britni Austin of her[b]otanicals for an introductory guide to understanding ways herbs can guide us physically and spiritually as we transition to the energy of spring. In this workshop, participants will learn the building blocks of practicing herbalism, the benefits of 2+ herbs, and finish with taking home some herbal support!

This program will take place on Saturday, April 27th, at Garfield Park Conservatory in the Community Room from 1pm-2:30pm.

$50.00 - General Admission

$40.00 - Community/Members/Volunteers

About Britni:

Britni Austin(she/her) is an herbalist and lover of all things science and herbs. Britni’s passions include educating people on the plethora of ways herbs can be worked into your daily routine. Britni’s business, her[b]otanicals (pronounced herb botanicals) centralizes bioregional herbalism; where she encourages a lens that centers land and plant allies that grow near you to support a sustainable impact and reverence for the plants through radical ease. Some of her practices include making small batch herbal remedies and teaching workshops.

Reservations to visit the Conservatory are included with registration. Participants are encouraged to explore the collection, including the Spring Flower Show.

Refunds: For all fee-based programs and tours, we are able to provide full refunds up to two weeks prior to the program date. Within two weeks, we can offer a credit for a future class, or a refund in the event that we have a waitlist for the program and we can fill your spot.
