Making your own herbal medicne is easy- once you know how! Capture the art and science of crafting plants into traditional herbal remedies in this day long workshop with herbalist Erin Vanhee. In this hands on class you will prepare infusions, decoctions, vinegars, salts and tinctures with fresh and dried plants of the garden and wild lands of the PNW.
Medicine Making follows the ancient tradition of using plants as nourishment and medicine. Mid winter is a great time to master the art of medicine making to prepare for the coming spring when it's time to harvest in the garden and wild!
This workshop guides you step-by-step to make your own traditional herbal remedies.
Students will leave with their own medicines to take home. There is a small supply list.
No previous experience with plants necessary; this class is appropriate for beginner to advanced herbal students.
