About this Event
Carve a plant, print some magic.
Everyone has an affinity herb, an herb they feel drawn to because of its properties and the magic it holds. This is your opportunity to learn more about your affinity herb and create an illustration of it through Linocut, a fun, beginner-friendly printmaking technique that uses a carved linoleum block to produce one-of-a-kind prints. In this hands-on workshop at Dope Botanicals, you’ll design a linocut inspired by herbs, roots, barks, or berries (think: tulsi, hibiscus, elderberry, cacao, ashwagandha, mushroom stacks), carve your block, and print a custom bookmark or card to take home—no art experience needed—just curiosity and good vibes.
In this calming, process-based creative experience, you will learn the basics of linocut, dive deep into your affinity herb, and tie art to herbalism in a new and fun way.
