Step into the ancient and fascinating world of herbal distillation during this full day workshop. You will learn the foundations of the distillation process and, with the help of a beautiful copper alembic still, follow the journey from harvest to finished hydrosol and essential oil.

This special workshop will focus on nervine herbs -plants that support and soothe the nervous system. You will have the opportunity to connect deeply with the plant we are distilling, exploring its essence, qualities, and therapeutic actions through all your senses.
We will also take a guided walk through the beautiful herbal garden at Nordiska Örter , where you will get to meet the plants in their growing environment and learn more about their traditional uses and properties.
Each participant will take home a bottle of the distillate we create together.

Nellie is a herbalist, plant distiller, and acupuncturist trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine, with deep roots in both Western and Eastern herbal traditions. She has been teaching herbal medicine for several years and is passionate about reconnecting people with the living world through sensory, seasonal practices. Her work weaves together science and traditional knowledge with intuitive plant connection, and through distillation she explores the essence of plants in a tangible, soulful way. Nellie offers consultations, workshops, and courses rooted in the cycles of nature.
