Info: Breaking Barriers to Success, providing an understanding that what you do today will determine how you live and show up in the world tomorrow. This workshop will focus on helping participants to understand that their family, cultural influences, trauma, neighborhood, or mistakes define who they are. Participants will gain insight and tools from a 25-year-old Black, female Dr.

Successful Sisters from the DMV Panel
Info: Panelist will share insights about the stigma and stereotypes of being a black or brown girl, offering tips, strategies and tools to enhance self-esteem and image. Panelist will positively reinforce smart goals, critical thinking, conflict resolution and decision-making skills, self-awareness and self-love.

Restorative Reflections
Info: Participants will breakout into groups to develop their key take-aways and report out to other groups regarding attitudes and behaviors that don't serve them well. Research shows that change requires healthy alternatives, the participants will practice developing 2 smart goals.
