Her Art Works: An Ode to Black Women
Art Installation Experience
This year, we’ve embarked on an incredible journey — advocating for Black women by amplifying the realities and resilience of those most impacted by HIV. In Orange County, Black women are 12 times more likely to contract HIV than their white counterparts — a staggering statistic that underscores the urgent need for awareness, advocacy, and action.
To honor World AIDS Day and the transformative work done throughout the year, we present Her Art Works: An Ode to Black Women — an immersive art installation experience that takes you on an audio and visual journey inspired by the real-life story of a Black woman living with and impacted by HIV.
Through storytelling, visual art, sound, and sensory design, Her Art Works confronts stigma while celebrating the beauty, strength, and complexity of Black womanhood. Guests are invited to immerse themselves in:
- Powerful visual art pieces that reflect both vulnerability and resilience
- An intimate audio narrative tracing one woman’s journey
- Curated installations that blend art, advocacy, and healing
- Signature mocktails and small bites inspired by the story’s themes
- A custom soundtrack setting the vibe and connection
More than an exhibition, Her Art Works is an ode to Black women — their stories, their voices, and their power to rewrite the narrative around HIV and health equity.
