Did you get a new camera over the festive season or just want to up your photography game?
This double workshop is aimed at people who want to get started in photography! You might have bought your first camera, or you may have been taking pictures for a short time but now want to start making better images.
Either way, this workshop is for you!
There is a 1 hour break from 2pm-3pm
Part 1: Understanding Your Camera
This session will focus on the basics of camera operation and how to understand aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and focus. By the end of this session, you will more confident when you take control of your camera. You will also learn the importance of a lens’s focal length and understand what lenses are most useful for different genres of photography.
Part 2: Composition 101
This session will enable you to make more interesting and better composed images. Composition is at the core of great photography whatever your level of experience and ability. By the end of the session, you will understand key photography ideas such as the rule of thirds, leading lines, curves, isolation, framing, and scale. By learning and applying these concepts your images will become more interesting and more memorable whether you are taking family photographs or pictures that you want to hang on your wall.
