About this Event
Many parents have attended the programme and have taken more away from it than expected. As one parent wrote:
“My experience of HENRY has exceeded all expectations, as it was sold to me as a healthy eating programme, but it was MUCH more! The HENRY programme has given me so many tools and friends for life, I have nothing but positive feedback by the way it was delivered and loved attending each week. The 8-week programme went so quickly because all the topics were so interesting”.
HENRY is a universal offer to all parents and carers who have a child within the family home aged 0-5years. The programme is free to join and is facilitated by both the 0-19 Public Health Integrated Nursing Service (PHINS) practitioners and Family Outreach Workers from Leeds City Council Children’s Centres.
Our programmes run Monday - Friday on the same day and time each week for 8 consecutive weeks.
We welcome Mums, Dads, Grandparents, and other extended family members to attend a programme. So we can ensure you get all the support you need, please attend all session dates.
You must have a Leeds postcode to book a place. Try where possible to book a programme close to where you live and book one ticket per household. This will enable you to meet other families and Family Outreach Workers who work in your local children’s centres along with Family Health Workers and Health Care Support Workers. Places are limited so please cancel your booking if you cannot attend. Please be advised that there are no creche facilities for this programme.
Please be advised that as part of the programme your NHS Health Records will be accessed to record your attendance.
In order to improve our offer to carers and parents you may be contacted using the information provided to gain feedback on your experience.
