Join Local historians Aaron McIntyre and Stephen McCracken as they take you on a historical 1798 walking tour of Lisburn City centre.
About this Event

We will commence the walking tour at the Crimea Cannon in Lisburn Castle gardens.

From the Teeling family to the Monro`````s we will take you on a journey back to the late 1700s when Lisburn was at the forefront of the United Irishmen movement. Learn about the radical players within the Volunteer movement and indeed the liberal politics of old Lisburn. The French aspect is at the forefront of this tour and may amaze some people.

This is our first of the season and booking is secured via a donation, we would recommend £10 or over.

This is open as a free event to all Reclaim the Enlightenment members - on a small donation or membership fee.
