About this Event

From Georgian mansions to tenements to convent to school - Join historian, Declan Brady, to meet with some of the people who lived at numbers 8, 9, and 10 Henrietta Street, once feted as 'the best address in town'.

This talk will look at the lives of those who lived on Henrietta Street through time. The session will start with the earliest inhabitants in the Georgian era, Nathaniel Clements at No. 8, Thomas Carter at No. 9 and Luke Gardiner at No. 10, and progress to the present day.

Henrietta Adult and Community Education (HACE) was established in 2002 to serve the education needs of local adults in Dublin 1 and Dublin 7. We offer a wide programme of classes from language skills to cooking, history and yoga. Information on our programme will be available on the day.

This event is part of Dublin Learning City Festival 2024.
