At Hemphill African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, we embrace this powerful scripture as a reflection of the divine calling and faithful service of our beloved pastor, the Reverend Charles A. Watkins, Sr. Just as the prophet Isaiah extolled the messengers who carry the gospel to distant places, we recognize and celebrate the beauty, strength, and purpose in the journey Reverend Watkins has undertaken. His feet have not only traversed physical mountains but have climbed spiritual ones—bringing peace to troubled hearts, proclaiming salvation to the lost, and declaring with boldness and conviction that our God reigns.
