It is happening, AGAIN!!After the big turnout from last year's December event AHFG is going all in and this time our event will be BIGGER, FUNNIER, COZIER, CHALLENGI...ER than ever!
Once again we have amazing sponsors and this time everyone will get to compete to get their hands on the bounty, which will include swords (yes, plural), gloves, equipment and even more stuff than before.
But wait, this is not the classic event where people show up and fight and the usual few top fencers get their hands on the goodies... we cannot say much about the plan (everything will be kept secret until the day), but believe us it will put everything you know about HEMA to the test!
The event will feature a series of challenges where teamwork, leadership, skill, HEMA knowledge, fun, luck and all around badassery will make the difference. It is the HEMA SQUID GAME, after all!
Practical info about the event will follow soon, for now we can say that we have booked a bigger hall with possibility to overnight and the event will continue in the evening with some different kind of fun activities.
In addition to all of the above, much of the event will also be a get together with plenty of time for free sparring and mingling. By all means consider this like a fun sparring event with some extra stuff and it is designed to be enjoyed (and WON) by fencers on all levels!
So come and have fun together with Aros Historical Fencing Guild in Denmark's probably best HEMA event in December (it's the only one!!) 😃
