Helvellyn is one of the nations favourite walks in the Lake district. With spectacular panoramic views of Thirlmere and Striding Edge this will be a walk you’ll never forget!This is a 15km walk, taking approximately five to six hours to complete.
The guided circular route will start from the east side of Thirlmere which offers a steadier climb to the peak of Helvellyn, before descending to Grisedale Tarn. This route will avoid the more exposed Swirral and Striding Edge.
