This interactive workshop will give you the practical tools, strategies, and confidence to make a difference in the lives of the young people you support.
Who Is This Event For?
This session is designed for anyone who supports neuro-diverse young people, including:
Parents and carers
Teachers and SEN staff
Youth workers and mentors
Mental health and wellbeing professionals

About the Facilitators
Lavinia Dowling brings expertise from her work with neuro-diverse individuals. She specialises in supporting young people with mental health challenges and guiding schools and families in inclusive approaches.
Rachel Goodman has extensive experience in teaching both SEND and Youth offenders, and has developed innovative ways to use gaming as a positive tool for learning and wellbeing.

Session 1 – Why young people are struggling with poor mental health
Session 2 – Understanding neurodiversity
Session 3 – Reframing “naughty/lazy/challenging” behaviour
With Rachel
Session 1 – Youth offending and the role schools may play
Session 2 – Gaming safety for young people
Session 3 – How EPS showcases gaming as a learning tool
