About this Event
Join us in Greenock, Inverclyde, for an interactive study day which will bring together those who support bereaved men and boys to share their knowledge, challenges and expertise.
There will be a presentation and discussion led by Sean Humphreys , Child Bereavement UK giving an insight into how men and boys grieve and why we might need to challenge our common misconceptions in order to offer the best possible support.
We will be joined by various speakers, sharing their experiences, including Laurie Dunsire, a bereaved parent and Ben Kane, a bereaved sibling. Graeme Young from PAPYRUS will share his work around suicide prevention and Amir Ghasemi from Victim Support Scotland will share the work being done to support families bereaved by crime.
