Our presenter, Dr. Jennifer Tininenko, licensed clinical psychologist and Director of the Child Anxiety Center at EBTCS. She will lead an eye-opening discussion on the real effects of screens on adolescent mental health. Dr. Tininenko will break down what the research says about social media, gaming, and screen time—and how these digital habits can contribute to stress, sleep issues, and anxiety.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with others, share their experiences, and learn about strategies to help their children establish healthy screen boundaries, reduce technology-related stress, and promote emotional resilience in their teens. Dr. Tininenko is a licensed clinical psychologist, clinic owner, and the Director of the Child Anxiety Center at the Evidence-Based Treatment Centers of Seattle (EBTCS). She specializes in treating pediatric anxiety, OCD, and related disorders, using gold-standard, research-backed therapies to help kids and teens regain confidence and resilience. With deep expertise in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and exposure and response prevention (ERP), Dr. Tininenko has dedicated her career to helping families navigate the complex intersection of anxiety and modern life—including the powerful impact of screens on mental health. She collaborates closely with parents, schools, and medical providers to create effective, practical strategies that work in the real world.
