About this Event

Help Restore Tolowa Dunes State Park!

Come join us at Tolowa Dunes State Park for a day of giving back to nature! These Volunteer events will involve pulling invasive species like European beachgrass and pampas grass.

  • Volunteers receive 1 free day use pass to Sue-meg State Park.
  • All events are free to the public and all ages welcome (minors must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian).
  • Pulling out invasive species is a moderate activity and participants are encouraged to wear sturdy shoes for walking off trail, bring loppers if you have them, a hat, work gloves, and water.
  • Meet at trailhead gate (in large gravel parking lot immediately past the wildlife building at end of Old Mill Road).

Let's work together to make Tolowa Dunes State Park a beautiful and thriving place for all to enjoy. Don't miss out on this opportunity to make a difference in your community!
