Showers are provided on Thursdays 9am-1pm at the Olympia Union Gospel Mission. 413 Franklin St NE. Olympia WA
There are three areas we are recruiting for:
Driver with Mechanical knowledge - setting up the equipment which breaks down into 3 sections:
- Grey water setup
- Fresh water setup
- General setup ie canopies supply tubs tables and signs
Shower Operations - Working with guests:
- Setup Assistants
- Intake & Scheduling
- Hygiene Supplies
- Cleaning and Disinfecting shower stalls
- Teardown Assistants
Outreach - Helping to bring others to the cause
- Putting Up Flyers
- Inviting Potential Volunteers or Donors
- Spreading the word via email or social media
Bus Building - Building out buses for services and housing
- Bus Renovation
- Carpentry and Construction
- Plumbing electrical solar etc

We understand that life can take unexpected turns and it's our mission to provide support and hope to those who need it most.
