Hanoi received over 223,000 units of blood donation in 2018 which was not enough to meet the requirements of emergency and treatment, as Hanoi is home to many central hospitals with huge demand for blood.
Help Hanoi's Homeless is arranging a blood drive to help save the lives of many Hanoians in desperate need of blood transfusions.
You don't need to register in advance, just arrive, fill out the forms and NIHBT will do the rest.
Make sure you're well-rested, hydrated and have eaten iron-rich foods, such as red meat, fish, poultry, beans, spinach, iron-fortified cereals or raisins before donating blood.
