Remembrance Sunday 10th November- Parade participants meet at Broadway shops at 9.15am for parade to St. Thomas's Church for a 9.45am service start. On completion of the Church service, the parade will assemble on Helmshore Road and march to the Memorial Gardens. A service of commemoration and wreath-laying ceremony will be held at 11am. Following this, the parade will then form up on Free Lane and march up to Sunnybank Social Club where refreshments will be provided. End time approximately 11.40am. We will be joined by Rawtenstall (1969) Air Cadets Unit, Haslingden Army Cadet Force, and local Scouts, Cubs, Beavers, and Rainbows. The Mayor of Rossendale will attend. Monday 11th November Armistice Day- we will be observing a two-minute silence at the Helmshore Memorial at 11 am. All welcome.
