About this Event
We are so excited because "Hello Spring" combines ALL of our FAVORITES: Faith, Friends, & Flowers!!!! (and fun coffee drinks... and spring bites....also our favorites....)
We know life can be crazy busy, but we want to make time to come together as women and be encouraged by God's Word, along with delicious drinks, desserts, and a gift of Spring for you to take home, too.
We are excited to have Carrie Holt share an uplifting message with us:
The Story We Didn’t Write: Discovering God’s Goodness Through Surrender
There are moments in life when we realize this isn’t the story we would’ve written for
ourselves. Maybe you’re waiting—waiting for a husband, a child, or a different job—or
you’re at a crossroads—empty nest, widowed, or raising a child with disabilities.
When we face this realization, we have a choice: to fight it or to surrender. Through
examples in scripture, we will discuss grieving what our lives didn’t become, the tension
of trusting God versus our control, and learning to release our expectations of God and
discover His goodness in unexpected ways. We will explore what it means to surrender
and how to build resilience and grow through difficulties, not by fighting the hard
seasons but by leaning into them with faith.
