Friday nights starting Nov 1st, 2024 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, with open play from 8:00 pm until lights out.Play consists of two 45-minute sessions resulting in 1.5 hours of active playing time:
Location: Lakeview Park Pickleball Courts - 5 courts labeled 1-5 (Court 1 in southwest corner)
Gameplay:
- Draw Court Numbers: Begin by drawing a court number to determine your starting court.
- Games & Breaks: Play 3 consecutive 12-minute games followed by a 5 minute break. After the break, play another 3 games.
- Game Length: Each game has a 12-minute time limit, with no scoring limit.
- Movement: After each game:
-- Winners: Move up one court number.
-- Losers: Move down one court number.
- Partners: Upon moving, split and play with a new partner on your new court with the players finishing on the even side of the court moving to the south end of the next court and the players on the odd side of the court moving to the north side of the next court.
- Scoring:
-- Each player to track individual score and court number and report both to the scorekeeper after each game.
After the initial session is complete, any new players in subsequent sessions may start on the lowest court upon arrival.
