The passion of playing the music of W.A.S.P. led 4 "old school musicians" to start in 2018 the first and only Italian W.A.S.P. tribute band with a female singer.
HELLION’s crown jewel is our frontwoman MARZIA FONTANA.
Called “The Blackie Lawless’s daughter” or “Lady Wasp”, she has great charisma, excellent vocal technique and amazing entertaining ability as well as an extraordinary matching voice with Blackie Lawless.
The best songs of W.A.S.P. like I WANNA BE SOMEBODY, L.O.V.E. MACHINE, MEANMAN, WILD CHILD, SLEEPING IN THE FIRE, CHAINSAW CHARLIE, FOREVER FREE and many others are in the HELLION’s setlist and we perform them with the same intensity and power of the original band.
The show includes a spectacular “real chainsaw scene” with a real but safe (nobody will be injured!) chainsaw in “Chainsaw Charlie” song and an awesome “drinking blood from skull scene”, as Blackie did in the past, as well as “Elvis”, the amazing Marzia’s “skeleton shaped microphone stand” and a stunning fire show (where it’s allowed).
Also, if the venue has a screen behind the stage, we can project some videos during the performance to guarantee a total visual and emotional involvement of the audience.
