It’s that time of year, ladies. Grab your lawyer BFF’s and your fabulous shoes and head to San Antonio for our 6th annual “Hell on Heels Luncheon and Shoe Parade.”

We are honored this year to have State Bar President Elect and one of our own- Cindy Miller Tisdale- as our keynote speaker.
Cindy Tisdale is one of us. She knows what it’s like to work in the trenches and understands the unique challenges of balancing single motherhood with running a law firm- all while somehow finding the time to be of service to other members of the profession. She has spent almost three decades in family law becoming a well-respected expert across the state- first as an assistant District Attorney in McClennan County and eventually spreading her wings and starting her own practice. She has dedicated so much of her time to helping other Texas attorneys by serving on multiple State Bar committees- including serving as chair of the Family Law Council, the Texas Bar Foundation and the Board of Directors for the State Bar of Texas.
Her favorite role, however, is being Mom to her daughter, Anna- a TCU Horned Frog and nursing major- and her son, Andrew- who is following in his mom’s footsteps as a student at Baylor University School of Law. We are proud of and excited for Cindy on her recent election as President of the State Bar of Texas and can’t wait to hear her share her words of wisdom.
