TROUT FISHING, CASH PRIZES & LOTS OF FAMILY FUN!!!Anglers of ALL ages will test their skill - trying to hook Tagged Trout. There will be $4,000.00 in available prizes swimming in the beautiful Chattahoochee River in Helen, Georgia on Saturday, March 27, 2021!! To win prizes, Anglers must catch an officially Tagged Trout & present it in the Festhalle for Weigh In between 9am & 2pm! Weigh In ends at 2pm! All prizes are by individual Weight for officially Tagged Trout & include:
1st place $1000.00 fish sponsored by Craig’s Remodeling & Repair.
2nd place $500.00 “Milton Davis” fish sponsored by the Helen Chamber.
3rd place $300.00 fish sponsored by Tim’s Wooden Toys.
$50.00 for each of the next 25 Tagged Trout by weight. $25.00 for the remainder of the Tagged Trout.
Registered participants receive an Official Helen Trout Tournament T-Shirt (while supplies last).
A Georgia fishing license and trout stamp are required by the State of Georgia. All tournament participants are to follow the Georgia DNR rules of fishing in the Chattahoochee River in Helen. *Boundary from the river access area on Escowee Street (just upstream from Hofbrauhaus Restaurant) downstream through Helen to the 1st Brucken Strasse Bridge (at Cool River Tubing).*Only 2021 Officially Tagged Trout qualify for prizes.
