In conjunction with the Behind Clara's Lens exhibit, we are exploring the extraordinary life of Helen Hamilton Gardener, a once-scandalized woman who reinvented herself and became a key figure in the passage of the 19th Amendment. Historian Kimberly A. Hamlin shares Gardener’s journey from public disgrace to political power, shaping the suffrage movement and women’s rights in America.📅 Date: August 23rd
