“Held” An Artful Dedication to Caregivers

Nature's Playhouse Ferndale is delighted to announce HELD, an intimate and soulful community-rooted art exhibit and immersive week-long experience honoring the hands, hearts, and spirits of caregivers.

Hosted at Nature’s Playhouse—a parent wellness center blending art, storytelling, and healing—this special gathering celebrates not only caregivers but also two milestones: 14 years of Nature’s Playhouse and our first year under new ownership. Our focus remains steadfast: supporting mothers, fathers, parents, and the many hands that hold our families and communities daily.

Through multi-sensory art, interactive workshops, and moments of stillness, HELD invites you to pause, breathe, and celebrate the quiet labor and radical love of caregiving. This is more than an exhibit—it is a living space of joy, recognition, and connection. Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, birthworker, friend, or anyone who carries the work of care, HELD offers a place to be seen, to release, and to receive.
