### MAJOR FUN EVENT NOTICE ###The Great Essex Treasure Hunt !!
26th June 2024
Treasure Hunt will start at 10.30am.
Hylands Park, Chelmsford, CM2 8WQ.
Use the A414 entrance to get to the children's park area, not the main house entrance.
Treasure Hunt will be followed by a picnic in the park, next to the
children's play area, for those who would like to stay.
Bring you own picnic.
For those who haven't used the park before, the parking is pay and display.
We will be close to the cafe, the parking and the huge children's play area and wooden fort.
The toilets will also be open...no wild wees required !!
Children £3 each. Certificates for all kids taking part.
Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
Collect the treasure from the hidden chests !
Gold Coins, Gems and Wads of Cash (not real ones, obviously)
Read the fun clues, find the treasure and find the
Giant Diamond to claim your right to wear the winners crowns !!
Each team will receive a velvet pouch to collect their treasures and
a laminated sheet of clues to find each treasure chest.
Each treasure chest will contain a piece of treasure for each team to collect.
Collect all 10 pieces of treasure and head to the location of the Giant Diamond.
The first team to collect all 10 pieces of treasure and find the Giant Diamond will be declared the winners and get to wear the winners crowns...or will they???
All collected 'treasure' will need to be returned at the end of the
hunt, so that we are able run the event again.
A great fun day for the whole family, your children won't want to miss it !
