This October, Art Source Gallery is proud to feature the work of Boise jewelry artist Meagan Gittins in her solo exhibition “Heirlooms from the Sea”.Inspired by the wild, poetic beauty of the coast, Meagan gathers fragments of the shoreline—sea glass, driftwood, shells, and seaweed—and gives them new life as wearable art. Using a mix of electroforming and traditional metalsmithing, she preserves delicate textures in copper or silver, pairing them with gemstones like fossilized coral, Peruvian opal, and Indonesian opalized wood. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind treasure that feels like a memory made tangible: salt air, bare feet in sand, a windswept beach walk captured in metal and stone.
“Heirlooms from the Sea” is more than a jewelry collection—it’s a love letter to coastal memories and the natural world. These are keepsakes meant to hold story and soul, to be worn, cherished, and passed along.
Opening Reception: Thursday, October 2, 2025 | 5–9 PM
