A sweet and sweaty Sunday afternoon of fuzzy power-pop and jangly earworms care of a couple of Melbourne's finest conglomerates of hitmakers from the 'nineties, 'noughties and today.
Heir to the Squandered Millions is the new group comprising Ross McLennan and Ewan McCartney of Snout with Jane McCracken (The Foots / Cheeses) and Ben Mason (Smallgoods).
Comparatively elderly, Monnone Alone have been around in some form or other for twenty years. These days consisting of members of The Lucksmiths, Mid-State Orange, Architecture in Helsinki and Ciggie Witch, Monnone Alone have a new album on the way and will be performing songs from this and their back catalogue of solid gold bangers.
This event will be held on the stolen land of the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation. Sovereignty was never ceded. It always was and always will be Aboriginal Land.
