Heilung - Anda FardhaEnd Of A Journey w. Special Guests The Hu, Alcest & more
Norwegian/Danish/German ‘enigmatic ritual collective’ Heilung is coming to Maastricht for an exclusive open-air concert. This special evening on the city meadow in the city centre promises a journey back in time, to dark and mystical primeval times full of pagan rituals. Heilung brings as special guests Mongolian folk metal band The HU, French blackgaze duo Alcest, Dutch pagan/neofolk collective Sowulo and Taiwanese metal-folk artist NiNi. Heilung is known for its unique blend of archaic instruments, such as throat singing and ritual bells, combined with subtle electronic elements. The group, which describes itself with the term ‘Amplified History’, draws inspiration from ancient civilisations to create an immersive, timeless experience. For a moment, visitors are taken to a world where the mystical and the unknown dominate everything and modern reality fades away.
Regular tickets €85 (inc service).
Heilung has partnered with Savage Lands to support reforestation projects across Europe to address biodiversity loss and environmental degradation. From their upcoming rituals in Europe, the UK, Ireland and Luxembourg, €1 from every ticket sold will be donated to NGOs focusing on rewilding and reforestation. Since 2019, Heilung has been supporting conservation by working with groups such as Rewilding Europe and One Tree Planted. Their work with Savage Lands, which began in Costa Rica, now extends to Europe, where intensive agriculture threatens biodiversity. Heilung's goal is to inspire collective action for the planet through this impactful collaboration.
