About this Event
Join us for **Heights of Healing**, an event designed to build a strong sisterhood and community in Christ. As we climb Stone Mountain together, we’ll reflect on the importance of unity and support, encouraging each other on this journey of healing and growth ("Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together…" – Hebrews 10:24-25). This climb is more than just a physical challenge; it’s an opportunity to care for our bodies, honoring the temple God has given us ("Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit?" – 1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
We’ll face and overcome our fears, stepping into new challenges with faith and courage ("For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." – 2 Timothy 1:7). As we ascend, we’ll release the weights, hurts, and traumas that have been holding us back, allowing God to heal our hearts and minds ("He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." – Psalm 147:3).
All fitness levels are invited—come alone or bring a group! We will start and finish together, ensuring no sister is left behind. Please bring a small fanny pack or backpack with snacks and water, as we’re unsure if the store at the top will be open.
