About this Event
Heart disease is the number one killer of women each year. Yet, many women do not understand their risk or realize how heart disease looks and feels different in women.
Cardiovascular Institute of the South, Terrebonne General Health System, and The Foundation for Terrebonne General Health System understand the importance of awareness, prevention and education for women and heart disease. That's why we are proud to announce the return of Heels for Hearts: Women's Cardiac Wellness Social. Join us this Heart Month (Wednesday, February 12th) from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the Terrebonne General Medical Atrium Auditorium.
This FREE event will include the following:
5-6 p.m. - Healthy Heart Expo Organized by the Bayou Region Community Action Network + Free Health Screenings
6-7:30 p.m. - Dinner, Panelist Presentations, and an Open Q&A and Conversation about Heart Health

- Chef Bryan Ledet – Executive Chef
- Amelia Castell – Community Wellness Project Coordinator
