HEELS DANCE SERIES - FEBRUARY 2025
Join for 4 weeks of real technique, confidence-building, and fun choreography designed for all levels. Whether you've never worn heels or you dance in them regularly, this series will teach you the foundations that really matter.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
Week 1: Foundations
- Which shoes to wear (and why it matters)
- How your body mechanics change in heels
- Proper posture, bevels, and walks
- Building confidence from the ground up
Week 2: Confidence & Choreo (Galentines Celebration!)**
- Fun, flirty choreography
- Confidence-building techniques
- Fun celebration with treats
- Celebrating YOU with other amazing women
**Those who sign up for the full series will receive a Galentines goodie bag!
Week 3: Movement & Flow
- Advanced walk techniques
- How to incorporate more body movements
- Adding your own style and attitude
- Learning common heels body positions and movements
Week 4: Putting It All Together
- Put it all together and learn choreography
- Performance tips: face, energy, intention
- Film your progress to keep
- Celebrate how far you've come

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR:
Hi, I'm Alicia. I've been dancing in heels for over a decade, with training in Los Angeles and experience learning from some of the best choreographers in the world. I'm also a certified personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist, which means I approach heels dance from both a performance AND body mechanics perspective.
I created this series because I know what it's like to feel intimidated by heels. I also know what it's like when everything clicks and you finally feel powerful, confident, and in control. That's what I want for you.
This isn't about being perfect. It's about showing up, learning real skills, and walking away feeling like a different version of yourself.

📅 Wednesdays: Feb 5, 12, 19, 26
⏰ 6-7 pm
👟 Wear 2-4" heels with ankle support (we'll cover specifics in Week 1)

FAQS:
Q: I've never danced in heels before. Is this for me? A: Absolutely. We start with the very basics and build from there. Everyone starts somewhere.
Q: What if I can't make all 4 weeks? A: Life happens! You'll still benefit from the weeks you can attend, and you'll still get your journal and goodie bag.
Q: Do I need to bring my own heels? A: Yes, but sneakers are fine for Week 1 while we cover shoe selection. I'll explain exactly what to look for.
Q: Is this just choreography or will I actually learn technique? A: Both. I teach the WHY behind every movement so you understand how to apply it beyond this class.
Q: What if I'm not "good" at dance? A: This series is designed for real people, not professional dancers. If you can walk, you can do this.
Q: I'm an experienced dancer. Is this just for beginners? A: Not at all. While the series is beginner-friendly, we go deep into technique that even experienced dancers often haven't been taught. If you've been dancing but never had formal heels training, or if you want to refine your foundation and understand the "why" behind the movement, you'll get a lot out of this.
Registration is non-refundable. If you're unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another person or receive a credit toward a future class with at least 48 hours notice before the series starts (by Feb 3). After the series begins, no refunds or credits will be issued.
