The hedgerows are abundant with berries, seeds nuts and fruits. Its the autumn equinox; day and night are in balance, From now on the days get cooler and we know winter is not that far away.
Its time to gather in the harvests, forage and make our medicines. We will be working with Haws, elder berries, blackberries, crab apples and the late summer flowers making elderberry rob, hedgerow oxymel and a delicious haw and elder ketchup. The day is nature connective, outdoors and hands on. This is a great way to learn and connect to the seasons. You will get to take home some of that which you make.
This full day workshop is in partnership with the Northern School of Permaculture at the historic Wardley Hall gardens in Worsley, Manchester.
One-day course £70 and include emailed handouts and 2 products that you make – Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. See less
