Conchas are a traditional sweet bread made of a fluffy, buttery, brioche-like soft dough, flavored with cinnamon and topped with a sugar topping which resembles a seashell.
This is one of the most popular kinds of authentic Mexican breads and is an iconic childhood favorite for many.
In this class, participants will learn the basics of making these delicious treats and share them with family and friends.
Instructor: Alex Peña, Master Baker and founder of Baking Evolution; currently working on a cookbook on the history and evolution of pan dulce.
