This FREE, Hands-On, Introductory Heavy Equipment training is scheduled Monday through Friday, August 5-9, 2024, 8 am to 5 pm each day. Training covers hands-on practice on heavy equipment including Hydraulic Excavators, Dozers, and front-end Loaders.
Pre-operational 360 degree walk arounds, control familiarization, basic equipment functions, basic operating techniques and safety rules and practices.
**All applicants must provide the following documents for acceptance into the training program: a copy of your birth certificate, high school diploma or GED, high school transcripts or GED scores, Social Security card, DD214 (veterans only), a valid driver’s license.**

This training opportunity is designed to provide participants with an experiential understanding of a career in the construction trades and to enhance participants' abilities to gain employment within the construction industry.
-Space is limited.
-Participants must be available for all five days of training.
-Applicants will be contacted to schedule an interview if space is still available in the training(s) they have applied to.
-All applicants must participate in the interview process to be considered for final placement in training.
