In the Spring of 2024, Heather Fitzwater began having some medical issues that she believed were due to an ulcer. After several weeks, Heather reluctantly went to Urgent Care where she was instead diagnosed with Metastatic Stage 4 Breast Cancer at the age of 42.Heather immediately began treatment at The Pluta Cancer Center in Rochester NY, over an hour from her home. She makes this trim at least three times per month. With the added EKGs, Echocardiograms, CT scans, Paracentesises and other necessary testing & procedures regularly, medical and travel expenses are piling up.
