Heather Mall is a singer-songwriter from the Chicagoland area. Drawing inspiration from The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Ella Fitzgerald and Sara Bareilles, she weaves this influence into her music’s fabric. Since her 2020 debut, Heather’s writing showcases honesty, authenticity and healing cemented with passionate vocals and storytelling. Her debut album, Calliope, is an autobiographical love letter about life, ultimately inspired by and dedicated to her grandparents. The songs are heartbreakingly hopeful and highlight moments of joy, heartbreak, grief, friendship, falling in love, etc. ensuring that the stories can resonate with anyone. In this show, you will hear the songs that have inspired Heather throughout her life so far and ultimately impacted the songs she created for Calliope.
