In an effort to improve local air quality, the Bay Area Air District (BAAD) is restricting the sale and installation of residential gas water heaters starting in 2027. Only zero emissions (electric) water heaters can be sold in the Bay Area after the new rules take effect.
Join the San Francisco Environment Department, Eco-Logical, and LG for an in-person workshop to become a certified heat pump water heater (HPWH) installer.
