'Heartwood' is a photographic study into the landscape of Old Winchester Hill and I feel with your interest in Hampshire's landscape and biodiversity, you may find it resonates with you and your team.My approach has been to study the landscape from a variety of different perspectives and to deepen my personal connection with the land. This practice driven body of work has been informed by diverse strands of enquiry, from direct experience to geographic studies, each evoking the landscapes multifaceted characteristics. By continually returning to the hill, night and day, the land began to reveal its underlying stories and mysterious history. You can expect digital photography, large format negative, night vision, video installation and alternative process.
