About this Event
This classroom course teaches basic CPR skills such as performing a head tilt-chin lift and giving compressions and breaths. The course reflects the new science from the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care. The course provides training for anyone who wants to learn basic CPR and obtain a Heartsaver course completion card.
The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.
