Hearts & Hands is an organisation originally established to support individuals impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. Today, we assist a wide range of people facing financial stress, including those on zero-hour contracts, part-time workers, retirees, blue light workers, and both current and ex-servicemen and women.
Our food parcels are fully community funded, providing a week's worth of food for families, packed lunch items for children, pet food, and essential toiletries. Additionally, we offer several surplus food tables located outside our volunteers' homes, available to anyone in need. This initiative not only supports our community but also helps reduce food waste and prevent items from going into landfill.
