Heartlands is a multi-media celebration of the literary and musical culture of Ukraine.Relax to Valentyn Silvestrov’s classical piano compositions and Myroslav Skoryk’s violin, original Ukrainian jazz and folk. Hear Ukrainian, Yiddish and Crimean Tatar poetry, read against a backdrop of original filmmaking. Enjoy a selection of sweet and savory Ukrainian nibbles, and chill to modern Ukrainian and Crimean R&B and hip hop. Drinks will be available for purchase at the venue.
