Calling marimba/mallet percussion players far and wide. The HM Orchestra welcomes students, amateurs, and professionals for our upcoming December and June events during the 2024-2025 season! If you are an amateur player (have played a mallet instrument at some point in your past, or can read music and are willing to learn mallet playing technique - we'll give you mallets too!) or are a high school percussion student in the Central or NE Iowa area, we can set up additional rehearsals, lessons, and practices for you. Please reach out.
If you are a college percussion student, we would love to have you join us. There will be 2 days of rehearsals and 2 concerts for each event. We'll need you to bring an instrument. Please reach out.
